Helen Somerset How MBE

On Tuesday November 10th 2009, Helen visited Windsor Castle where the Queen presented her with the MBE which was awarded back in June in the Queen's Birthday Honours List.

Helen's husband Peter and three children Ben, Tom and Kate were all present.

The Queen had a few words for each recipient and Helen says she asked - "What is the Rainbow Centre? Where is it? and What does it do?"

Following the investiture, Helen hosted a lunch for friends and family in Windsor.

Helen said "It was a once-in- lifetime day, however this award is a reflection of many people's efforts over the years to make the Centre the success it is today".
