Though it has been demanding at times, parenting my children has been the most rewarding experience of my life.  I can empathise with parents who are presented with challenges they were not expecting, and are in need of guidance, support and someone who can both listen to them and teach them new skills.  The Rainbow Centre offers an opportunity to children and others that have medical conditions that can make life very challenging.  That is why I wanted to get involved with The Rainbow Centre and why I was so honoured to be asked to be a Trustee of such a fantastic facility for both the children it works with and the parents who care for them.’
