Amidst our Crisis Appeal, The Rainbow Centre’s fundraising team hosted a charity Golf tournament at The Meon Valley, A Marriot Hotel and Country Club on Tuesday 8th April. The event raised £5000, enough to keep the centre running for just over two days. Local businesses including Gosport Heating Services, Uni-Guard Fire Protection, and Merchants IFA Ltd showed their support by entering teams of four into the sell-out tournament.

Congratulations to the winning team the ‘KMA 7th Reserves’ captained by Ben Jones who won the tournament with a score of 91 points. Well done Pete Underwood who got ‘Nearest to the Pin’ and Carl Faulds of Portland Business Support & Advice who won our ‘Longest Drive competition, and finally to Edward Young-Husband for his ‘Hole in One’! Eden Group UK, Chef Gary and Khan Morris Accountants were kind enough to donate prizes towards the charity Auction which raised just over £1000. Thank you to all the teams who entered, watch this space for the next event.
