Join us in Southampton for an evening of traditional Scottish food and ceilidh dancing, to celebrate the great Scottish poet, Robert Burns.

We at The Rainbow Centre are delighted to present our first Burns Night Supper & Dance at The Spark, Southampton Solent University. Our annual Burns Night events in Fareham have been a resounding success, so we’ve decided to bring the fun to Southampton in Hampshire!

Tickets are only £27.5Burns SOUTHAMPTON poster 20180 per person and include:
– Traditional piper to greet you on entry
– Address to the haggis
– Tot of whisky to toast the haggis
– Traditional two-course meal
– Cheese board
– Coffee and shortbread
– Traditional Scottish dancing lead by the Woodsiders Ceilidh Band

Enjoy an evening with all of the traditional formalities including the piping in, toasting and addressing of the haggis. You will be served a delicious traditional menu of haggis (or vegetarian haggis) we’ bashit neeps an’ champit tatties followed by cheese, biscuits and tea or coffee.

After dinner, you’ll have the chance to enjoy a good old fashioned knees up with live music from the incredible Woodsiders Ceilidh Band and their caller, who will walk your through each traditional Scottish dance. The dancing is one of the highlights of the evening, as you try and master the steps whilst follow the lead of the caller. You’ll be sure to leave the dance floor in fits of laughter!
