POSTER - Firewalk 2018Firewalking is a great way to achieve something you never thought you would be able to do and raise some money for the Rainbow Centre at the same time!

We are looking for daredevils to face their fears and walk 15ft on smouldering hot coals. It may sound tough but it is perfectly safe. Some people say they feel the heat through the soles of their feet, others say it is freezing cold—have a go for yourself and see which you feel. Whichever one it is, it certainly wont be a feeling you forget.

What happens on the day?

As a firewalker you will receive full training an hour before the firewalk. During this time you will be motivated and build the confidence to complete the challenge. The firewalk and training seminar are organised and conducted by UK Firewalk one of the UK’s leading firewalk companies and Scott Bell twice holder of the Guinness world record for the greatest firewalking distance.

How much does it cost?

To reserve your place there is an entry fee of £30, we then ask that you try to raise an additional minimum sponsorship of £70.

How will this help the Rainbow Centre?

We need to fundraise £100 per person per session to be able to provide the services we do for the adults and children who attend the Rainbow Centre. Each participant with their entry and sponsorship will raise enough to provide a session for one of our service users where they can achieve life changing results.

Can I bring my family and friends?

Yes of course, the more people we have giving encouragement to our firewalkers on the day, the better.

Who organises the firewalk?

The firewalk and training seminar are organised and conducted by Firewalk UK one of the UK’s leading firewalk companies and Scott Bell a twice Guinness World Record holder.

Why should I walk on fire?

We will never give you a justification of why you should walk on fire, the choice is always yours, however, walking on fire gives people different results from overcoming their fear, self fulfilment, spiritual awakening or just a wonderful experience and achievement.

Can walking on fire burn me?

We are pleased to say UK Firewalk have never had anyone require medical attention after a firewalk, however there is always a risk with walking on fire. If there were no risks, where would the challenge and accomplishment of walking on fire be.

How hot are the coals?

The temperature of the coals can be as hot as 1200 F. Put into perspective: paper combusts at 451F aluminium melts at 1100F degrees!

Who can walk on coals?

Anyone can walk on fire, providing they feel they can. People aged 4-98 have walked on fire.

What are the benefits?

Firewalking is richly rewarding in terms of personal self development and the activation of your potential, realise and focus your talents, make decisions, set goals. You will discover meaning, prioritise the important things, understand the purpose of your life.
