Schools, Colleges and Groups

Young people quickly identify with The Rainbow Centre and its work because they know it’s children like them that are being helped by the Centre. We are very happy to visit schools and colleges to talk about our work.

Of course, we’ll tailor the information so that it’s entirely appropriate for the age group. Our packs for schools will help you get started with your fundraising. We also have a special teachers’ resource pack designed to fit the national curriculum. It explains about cerebral palsy, our work and ways to get involved.

Please call us on for more information about our work with schools or email fundraising@rainbowcentre.org

At School

Have great fun and learn skills which will be valued by a future employer.

We offer you the opportunity to develop organisational and personal skills by running an event that raises money for Rainbow.

At the end, we’ll award you a certificate of achievement, and give details of your skills and successes.

At College & University

Rag Week collections or city wide bucket collections are both great ways to raise awareness and funds for the Centre. We have got lots of fundraising ideas and are always on hand to offer support and advice.

Community Groups

Scouts, Brownies, Guides, Air Cadets, Church Groups – whatever group you belong to we welcome your support. We are happy to invite members of your group to visit us so that we can show you the work that we do and how your fundraising can help our children!
