Leave a Lasting Legacy, become a part of the Rainbow Story

The Rainbow Centre offers a FREE WILL SERVICE, available to people aged 50 or over.  This service will enable you to obtain independent professional advice and to create a simple single or mirror will at no cost to you.  All solicitors providing this service are donating their time for FREE.

If you are making a will or are amending an existing one please consider leaving a legacy to The Rainbow Centre.  Legacy gifts are a wonderful way of ensuring your memory lives on and they don’t have to be large.  Every legacy gift makes a difference and will mean that future generations of disabled children will be able to learn how to walk and play and to do the millions of things that other children take for granted.  Adults will be able to re-learn essential skills lost through illness and learn practical strategies to help them live as normal a life as possible.  A legacy gift will help us to buy specialist equipment and to provide the much needed support to the families of the children and adults with these debilitating conditions.

There are different kinds of gift you can leave in your Will. The most common are described below:

  • Residuary Gift is a share or percentage of your estate.  After family and friends have been provided for you can leave a share or the remainder of your estate to help a charity like The Rainbow Centre.
  • Pecuniary Gift allows you to leave a fixed sum of money in your Will to The Rainbow Centre.
  • A Specific Gift such as items of jewellery, stocks, shares or a property.
