Charity of The Year

Your company may have a formal charity of the year scheme, supporting one cause for one year only, or something much more informal… either way it is a great way for staff to truly engage with our work.

By selecting the Rainbow Centre as your charity of the year you will be able to:

  • Engage your employees and enhance morale through your fundraising activities and events
  • Fulfill your Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) aims and objectives.
  • Build a mutually beneficial partnership with us and receive regular feedback on the difference your support is making to the children and adults of The Rainbow Centre.
  • Benefit from the help and advice of our dedicated fundraising support team.
  • Offer employees the chance to volunteer at The Rainbow Centre .

NatWest – Fareham Franchise: Nat West have been collecting/walking and generally doing wonderful things for us since the beginning of the year. Tracey Smith, Senior Bank Manager for NatWest in Fareham said: “The Rainbow Centre does a fantastic job and we are just pleased that we can do our little bit to help them out.”

RBS, Solent: RBS staff renovated our sensory garden, held cinema days, cake days, a sponsored diet and a fun-golf day. Here’s what Dan Salanson, Head of Corporate and Institutional Banking – Solent said about working with us at The Centre:

“We are proud to have supported The Rainbow Centre over the past year through a number of initiatives, including holding a charity golf day and assisting the regeneration of The Centre’s Sensory garden. The support The Centre provides to children with cerebral palsy is invaluable and their tireless commitment is inspiring.

RBS is passionate about supporting local charities, particularly those to which our employees have a personal connection. It has been a pleasure to work so closely with the team at The Rainbow Centre and we wish them all the best for the future.”

Portland Business Service: Portland sponsored the Rainbow Centre Christmas Party – staff wrapped presents, made sandwiches, washed up, dressed as elves and accompanied Father Christmas…Carl Faulds, Managing Director of Portland said:

“At Portland we like to get our staff involved to contribute their time, as it not only helps the cause but also builds good team spirit and morale in the office and adds a different perspective to how we all interact with each other. Everyone involved was touched by the reaction of the kids at the Christmas party and it was clear to me that they felt it was well worth the effort they put in.
