Marina Manager is running the Marathon des Sables

Everyone at the Rainbow Centre is in awe of Graham Bristowe’s absolutely amazing challenge event!

Graham is Marina Manager at Chichester and next April he is running the Marathon des Sables, 156 miles across the Sahara desert in six days. Six years ago Graham’s best friend’s fiancée died of cancer and Graham decided to raise money for The Royal Marsden Hospital.

When Premier Marinas adopted the Rainbow Centre as its preferred charity in April 2011 Graham visited the Centre. He was so moved by the work of our conductors and the fantastic results of conductive education on our families that he decided to raise money for us as well!

Graham, pictured below on one of his training runs said:
“I wanted to do the most challenging event I could find and an event dubbed the toughest footrace on the planet seemed to fit the bill “

Graham is aiming to raise £10,000 – to be divided equally between Rainbow and the Marsden.
