Lucy Docherty – Chair
Lucy Docherty is an experienced non-executive director working in the public and voluntary sectors. She has extensive governance and leadership skills (including as a trustee and volunteer) at a local, regional and national level and long experience of mentoring executives and non-executives and helping them to understand the non-executive role in improving performance in their organisation. She is currently Chair of Governors at St Vincent 6th Form College, Gosport, a Governor at Portsmouth Hospitals Trust, and a non-executive director for the Hampshire Probation Trust. As Chair of the House of Laity for the Diocese of Portsmouth she is the senior lay person in the Diocese of Portsmouth and is an elected member of the Church of England General Synod.
Ray Khan – Vice Chair
Married with 2 children , Ray is a Director of Khan Morris Accountants Limited.
Enthusiastic Networker and Fundraiser ,Ray brings Financial and commercial experience to the Board .
Passions are watching Hampshire play cricket and trying to beat his son at Golf.
Ian Hooper - Parent Representative
Ian has been the Parent Representative to the Board of Trustees for a few years, in January 2013 he was invited to join as a Trustee.
Married with 2 children, Ian is the Managing Director of Hooper Services.
Susan Bayford – Trustee
I have been involved with The Rainbow Centre for 14 years, firstly supporting Helen Somerset How as an assistant fundraiser and later as a member of the Board of Trustees. I am a Fareham Borough Councillor and currently the Deputy Mayor.
Martin Palethorpe – Trustee
Founder of The Pragma Group, Martin is a highly experienced Executive Coach and Organisational Consultant. He’s been working in performance, culture and organisational development for the last 16 years, from entrepreneurial start-ups to FTSE100 organisations. He has a deep-rooted passion for advising & challenging the UK’s top leaders to develop themselves and their organisations to maximise long-term performance.
He’s also co-founder of the UK Values Alliance. Martin writes regularly for various business magazines including Management Today.
Martin is also a part-time adventurer. He’s cycled the length of Britain twice, raced to the North Pole, and run across the Gobi and Sahara deserts.
Graham Jacobs – Trustee
Married with 3 children , Graham is a Director of Portmore Insurance Brokers Limited.
Graham brings commercial experience to the Board together with fundraising capabilities through his connections with the commercial sector
Passions are Family, Football and Cricket.
