Lion Bill unveiled
At a ceremony on Saturday 22 September, Pat Nixon, International Lions' District Governor of Area 105D asked the widow of Lion Bill, a founder member of the Fareham Club to unveil a glockenspeil in the shape of a lion, dedicated to Bill.

Five of this area's Lion Groups had raised a total of £5,000 which was matched by Lions International Charitable Foundation to make a wonderful donation of £10,000 towards the cost of the sensory garden and play equipment.

During the preceeding week, a team of Lion volunteers had spent time with staff helping to plant the gardens.
