Flora London Marathon 2006
Once again we had seven runners representing the Rainbow Centre. They all finished the 26 miles in times between four and five hours. They were met at the finish by Helen and Julie. We are grateful for the hours of training and dedication they put in and for the money they are raising.

This years runners were:  

Steve Jackson (his second year for Rainbow) 4:10:09.
Will Melly (a Weapons Engineer in the Royal Navy - from Solihull) 4:10:07
Andy Davis (Will's mate , also a Weapons Engineer in the Royal Navy. Andy was due to run last year, but had to pull out following a motorcycle accident in which he broke his leg while on home leave in N. Ireland) 4:10:18.
Neil Jayes 4:14:22
Revd. Jeremy Dussek (Mayor of Fareham's Chaplain and vicar of Holy Trinity with St Columbia). 4:36:09.
Karen Dawes (Pike) 4:55:47
Chris Turner (Chris' first marathon - she only took up running a year ago) 4:57:13.
