Recycling -
reduce your carbon footprint!
Support us and help the environment at the same time! It is free and easy to donate your old mobile phones, printer cartridges, paper and postage stamps. In doing so you reduce your waste in an environmentally way and help to raise funds for the Rainbow Centre's vital work for children with cerebral palsy - a 'win-win' situation! |

Phones -
When most people upgrade their mobile phone, the old one is often put in a drawer and forgotten about. Did you know that most of the components can be re-used. Please donate your unused mobiles to us. You can either drop them off at The Rainbow Centre or at one of our Charity Shops ( High Street, West End, Southampton or Eastney Road , Milton ). If you are part of a large organisation, we can supply a mobile phone box for collections, or simply collect old disused phones in a carrier bag. Be sure to remove the sim cards and destroy. Email Julie for more details.

Paper - If your company generates considerable amounts of waste paper, it may be possible to put a paper bank on your site and generate money for the Rainbow Centre. It costs you nothing but gives the Rainbow Centre £25 for every tonne recovered. Email Julie for more details.
|

One of the questions we get asked most is how big?
Approx. size 5' x 5' x 5'
|
Toners - Ink cartridges and toners from your office and home printers can also be recycled to generate valuable funds for the Rainbow Centre. Email Julie for more details.
|
Postage Stamps - We even collect used postage stamps which generate money for us. Don't worry about trimming them - we have volunteers who do that! Just send or take your bags of used stamps to the Rainbow Centre, or one of our shops. Email Julie for more details. |
