Milton (Southsea)

The Rainbow Shop in Milton, Southsea is open 6 days a week from 9:00 - 5:00 and sells a variety of donated goods. The Milton shop's address is The Rainbow Charity Shop 147 Eastney Road Milton Southsea PO4 8DZ

It is opposite Bransbury Park, between a card shop and jewellers.

Romsey

The Romsey Shop is open 6 days a week and is located at: 25 The Hundred Romsey Hampshire SO51 8GD

Our managers and volunteers work very hard in all shops and their contribution to the running costs of the Rainbow Centre is greatly valued.

Donations & "what we can sell"!

If you have goods for donation to either shop, you can can take them there directly or drop them off at the Rainbow Centre.

One question often asked is "Can the shops sell electrical items"? We used to have to say "No", since any electrical item sold to the public must carry an inspection certificate and the cost of getting this done on an item- by-item basis was prohibitive. Now, thanks to the generosity of local company Hooper Services http://www.hooperservices.co.uk/, proper testing is carried out for us without charge, so the answer is "YES"!

However we are still not permitted to sell safety items such as child car seats, crash helmets etc unless these are unused and in the original packaging. Almost anything else is acceptable.!
