Sponsorship Opportunities

Corporate sponsorship is a unique way of supporting the vital work of the Rainbow Centre, which also offers a number of specific and positive benefits to the donor.

We have worked with the business sector for a number of years now, establishing mutually beneficial and successful partnerships with several companies. We can offer companies the opportunity to support a particular area of interest.

By sponsoring one of the Rainbow Centre's many fundraising events, activities, a member of staff or a vital piece of equipment, a company can demonstrate its values to existing and potential customers in a very public way.

Corporate sponsorship benefits both parties as it can help meet business objectives and demonstrates a philanthropic desire and a keen appreciation of corporate social responsibility which is becoming increasingly important in most successful companies.

Sponsorship benefits include:

  • Added brand value and recognition, as well as positive perception by your customers which can help increase product sales.
  • Exceptional publicity and PR opportunities through press releases, features on our website and articles in our forthcoming newsletter - seen by all supporters and contacts of the Rainbow Centre.
  • The chance to attract new customers by standing out from the crowd through specific related marketing campaigns and promotions.
  • An invitation each term to come to the centre and see for yourself the progress of our children.
  • Networking opportunities at your own Corporate Sponsors Reception to be held at The Rainbow Centre, which can also be used for fundraising events and employee volunteering.
  • Demonstrate your commitment to CSR and your integrity as an organisation.
  • An interesting way to engage staff in external activities and events that can help motivate and enhance staff morale, and aid team development.
  • The chance to make a genuine and lasting difference to the lives of children with cerebral palsy and families.

"It can be extremely beneficial to demonstrate to existing and new potential clients the more philanthropic side of your company. Often on neutral territory, you will find an increased response rate and attendance at events, as people are intrigued and wish to demonstrate their support for charities".

Delivery of Conductive Education:

The Rainbow Centre is open throughout the year and runs Conductive Education sessions 6 days per week, during school term times. We currently help over 50 children with motor disabilities gain greater independence and we are starting to help adults with motor impairments, such as MS, Parkinson Disease and people recovering from strokes.

We need to raise approximately £400,000 per year to be able to offer our services, which equates to around £1,700 per day.

£416 pays for the costs of running a morning or afternoon Conductive Education session for a group of children attending the Rainbow Centre.

£3,371 per month pays for a Conductive Education team (teacher and assistant).

£6,751 pays for one child's full time attendance for a whole academic year.

* All figures are based on us having 50 children in attendance

Publications

For £5,183 you can sponsor the initial set up, printing and publication of our new Rainbow Newsletter , issued 3 times per year, reaching at least 2000 supporters, including parents, carers, trustees, corporate contacts and the wider community.

The newsletter will also be accessible from our website and sent out as an e-newsletter:

  • Important to raise our profile and keep people informed about our work.
  • Publicise opportunities to contribute to The Rainbow Centre through events or fundraising.
  • Publicise the support received from people and companies - buy in to Corporate Social Responsibility.

For £7,368 you can sponsor our educational prospectus which will be sent to all new and prospective parents and carers as well as healthcare professionals:

  • A vital tool in disseminating information about our services.
  • Helping parents and carers make an informed choice about their child's future.
