Rachel (one of our volunteers) says:

"I was made redundant last year and after some months decided to do something with my spare time. I joined The Rainbow Centre in January and have not looked back in fact I don't know why I didn't do something like this sooner!

It's such an amazing place, and you are greeted with a warm and friendly welcome and put at ease immediately. I volunteer two days a week in an administrative capacity bringing me into contact with people and company's within the wider community who support The Rainbow Centre. I have made new friends and learnt new skills. My confidence and self esteem has grown and from personal experience something negative has now turned into a positive with an overwhelming feeling of satisfaction, I am not just benefiting myself but more importantly that of the centre itself".
