The Rainbow Centre and its three charity shops will be closed on Monday 19th September to allow our staff to pay their respects to Her Majesty The Queen, during the National Day of Mourning. We will re-open all sites Tuesday 20th September.

Founded by a small group of parents seeking to provide the very best help and support for their children with Cerebral Palsy, The Rainbow Centre has been changing lives for children and adults with neurological conditions, including acquired brain injuries, since 1990.

Our highly-skilled and dedicated team are trained to recognise, nurture and develop the innate potential of every child and adult they work with. Using a holistic, structured approach to movement based education, our programmes are carefully designed to enable individual success.

The inclusive and positive approach is fundamental to the lasting relationships we build with the many families who benefit by using the centre every year and is at the heart of making The Rainbow Centre a special place to everyone who learns or works here and, of course, our many valued supporters.

Wonderful Wickham Park Golf Club

A couple of month’s ago we were extremely lucky to be contacted by Mike Crane the new Captain of Wickham Park Golf Club. He was extremely interested in choosing us for their Charity of the Year, a role he took over in April of this year.

We were so happy and excited to have been given this opportunity and jumped at the chance to build new relationships and to forge a collaboration.

We invited Mike in to take a tour of our centre and to show him first hand the amazing work our fantastic Conductors and their wonderful assistants do. Mike was interested to see for himself exactly what we do here as although he was aware of our centre, he had no idea of the number of Children and Adults with Neurological Conditions we could cater for. In fact, for many years he had been under the impression that The Rainbow Centre only catered for Children.
