THANK YOU to these ladies who have been sharing their hobbies with the Rainbow Centre and making items to sell in our Charity Shops.

IMG_0210Sue Robinson has been a qualified seamstress for over 30 years and with more time on her hands, has been making some wonderful cat and owl door-stops. More recently, she has made some very pretty peg bags to sell in the West End Store; they have proved very popular, so much so,they have people requesting them to be made to order.

Mavis Moore has been knitting and crocheting for 35 years for her children, grandchildren and now for Rainbow, Mavis has made Snake toys, draft excluders, socks and this Easter, chicks that were sold over the holidays.

Glenda Hardy has been drawing and painting as a hobby for many years, her passion for drawing has been a IMG_0215fantastic help to Rainbow, as they have been able to sell wonderful book-marks and very attractive birthday and thank you cards that she has hand-crafted.

Do you have a unique talent that could be shared in one of our Charity Shops or can you donate clothing or homeware?

If so we would love to hear from you, pop into one of our shops and have a chat with the Shop Manager.
