The Bryony Deacon Legacy

1980 – 2012

Bryony was a beautiful, caring young woman who tragically died at the early age of 32 in September 2012.

She had trained and worked as a Nursery Nurse and also more recently as a gardener.  Shortly before her death, she left a flyer about The Rainbow Centre by her mum’s computer and her family decided to honour her memory by asking her friends and family to make donations to the Centre.

Although the family don’t think she ever visited the Centre, they know that she would have loved the warmth, care and hope that is so apparent – and she would have so loved the garden with its rainbow planting and grasses.
As at 3 December Bryony’s legacy fund stood at £2,334.00.

The Rainbow Centre would like to thank everyone that has donated to Bryony’s legacy fund. We are immensely moved at the decision by Bryony’s family to honour her memory by establishing a close connection with the Centre.

All donations in memory of Bryony, will be helping to secure better futures for our children.
